Assisted a buddy of mine and swapped out the stock seat belts in their rig a few days ago for a set of 4 point harnesses. Everything went pretty smoothly, until after a while he started wondering about the two long bolts from the original seat belt retractors. Do those actually need to come out, or is it fine to just leave them in place like some of the install videos seem to show?
