Alright, I'm done babying old rigs so now I'm looking to upgrade. My current side by side has been patched up more times than I care to count lol, and I'm tired of getting left behind on the trails. Been eyeing the Maverick X3, cos I did some research and need something with real power, solid suspension, and no drama. Who's got the lowdown on which trim actually holds up under hard use? here to rip, not cruise

Great choice going with the Maverick X3 X rs Turbo RR,it truly is the top pick for tough trails. With 200 horsepower,a 72-inch stance, FOX 3.0 RC2 shocks, and a Smart-Lok differential, it handles rough terrain like a pro. And if mud is more your style, the X mr Turbo R is a fantastic option as well. I've witnessed both of these machines take a beating and still keep on going strong

Love how thiroughly @BoostedMav read throuhg the brochure for the turbo rr, so let me give you some real world experience. It does wonders on sand or anywhere when you can open it up. It's terrible on tight mountain roads or rock crawling. If you plan to let it rip on the Bonneville Salt Flats, go for it, you won't regret it. Otherwise you'll find that 200 hp aren't as fun when trying to navigate a tight and bendy road where goats wouldn't go

I've taken a Maverick X3 Turbo RR out on some rough trails, and I have to say, the power and suspension really shine on open terrain. However, when you get to those narrow, twisty paths, it can come off as a little cumbersome. If you're mostly enjoying wide-open spaces, it truly is a beast. But for tighter trails, you might want to consider something that's a bit more agile

I would say don't go for the base model esepcially if you want navigation, or unless you're into setting it up yourself.
