It seems like the full KWI P-Drive conversion kits for the Can-Am X3, Defender HD10, and Commander 1000R are finaly here! I've only heard great things about how they make for a smoother, quieter ride and improve performance.

If you've already made this upgrade, what should I do first when the kit arrives? Any setup tips or installation advice you can share? I'd really appreciaet any pointers before getting started

Well, make sure to read through the instructions thoroughly first. KWI usually has very detailed guides, sometimes even with videos on their website or included in the box. ensure also that you've got the right tools to make the installation easier. enjoy the enhanced ride!

When it shows up, go through everything in the kit and check well before you tear into the machine, yeah clean your crankshaft taper thoroughly before sliding the new primary on, and don't skip on blue loctite where needed alright

Great idea to check the kit first, I found that out the hard way when I was swapping a clutch kit on my friend's Commander. I overlooked a tiny shim in the box and had to take everything apart again. I also completely agree that you need to clean that crank taper really well and use Loctite where it's necessary. It makes such a huge difference when you finally start it up. You're going to be amazed at how much smoother that P-Drive feels!
