While getting my Can Am Maverick Sport 1000R ready for the season, I put in a new belt and noticed some light grooves on the primary clutch. But, so far there hasnt been any reason to worry or panic and everything is running fine but I just said lemme check in with the fam here who might've seen the same. Is this just regular wear, or should I be keeping an eye on it before it turns into a bigger issue?
TIA

If it's light grooving, nothing too deep, then it's normal wear and tear and there's nothing to worry about especially if everything is running fine. I'd still keep an eye on it just in case there's a bigger problem you'll need to fix.

A few light grooves on the primary clutch are usually just normal wear, after installing a new belt. If anything unusual how up, then it might be time for a closer look, but otherwise it sounds pretty typical.
